The Victory Club, Selsey's Race Night Raises £600

On Saturday 27th August 2021 The Victory Club (formerly The Royal British Legion) very kindly hosted a Race Night in aid of Selsey RNLI. A good number of people attended including three RNLI crew (James Albery, Andy Lee and Harry Emmence) and a Coastguard member (Ashley Pledger), plus several ex-Selsey RNLI Fundraising Committee members.
Mark, the Club Chairman and compere for the evening, did a brilliant job of introducing each race and encouraging people to bet on the Tote, which was ably run by Carole and Don.
The bar staff, which tonight was Mary, Carole and Michelle, made sure that we were all looked after.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and the magnificent sum of £600 was raised this evening.
